A steep, mossy mountain rainforest in the south-east, famous as the place where the golden bamboo lemur was found in 1986. Its trails give good chances of red-bellied lemurs, Milne-Edwards's sifakas, greater and golden bamboo lemurs and many tenrecs, frogs, chameleons and forest birds. Much of the park is wet and cool, so rain gear is essential.
